This soldering iron from Choice stained glass is 100 watts with a 1/4" tip.  It will work well for standard stained glass soldering applications.  For more accurate temperature control, use with a rheostat. 

Please use due caution!  This must be stored (while hot) in a sturdy soldering iron stand.  Protect your lungs! Always solder using a fan or smoke absorber in a well ventilated area!  This iron idles at between 900-1000 degrees. For best results, use with a rheostat.
