What is a striker? A striker is a piece of glass that may not "strike" to the target color of the glass until it's heated to extreme temperatures in a kiln. When I make precuts, I choose glass that's the closest possible to the target color, but I may not be able to do that on subsequent cuttings.
Measurements: About 1 1/4" high by 5/8" wide. They're small.
Made from Bullseye Compatible glass made in the United States and waterjet cut and hand finished in Loveland, Colorado. Due to the nature of waterjet cutting, please expect some edge chipping.
COE: 90
Project ideas:
Bend a stringer with a candle into a free-form shape as a wire, place the cutouts on a plate blank and contour to full fuse for a quick and easy holiday project.
Stack two and do a fuse between a tack and a contour. Add a bail and you have cute earrings or a necklace.
Use on plates, ornaments, gift tags. These will be very versatile little precuts.
