Important: This kit contains the glass needed to make the kit and a GENERAL pattern. You need to put it together and knowledge of stained glass construction is needed. This is a good kit for a beginner but you'll need the basic skills before you buy the kit. You'll need experience with stained glass, tools (a soldering iron, safety equipment etc.), solder, flux, and the lead came or copper foil needed to complete the kit.

Important: Although the actual product design is the same from kit to kit, due to supply issues, some glass selections may be different.  Please see the kit components photo.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.  The manufacturer was unable to provide new stock photos. In this kit, the glass for the leaves was changed from transparent to opaque. 

The loon oval kit depicts a mother loon with babies hitching  a ride on mom's back.  The setting sun and the cattails add to the charm of this interesting study in nature.  Each kit contains instructions, the cut glass pieces, the oval, wire, and any beads or findings that may be required to complete your kit.   The detail on the birds of this kit require painting with white enamel paint (not included).  We recommend that you assemble your kit using small gauge hobby lead (not included), although, many have had success assembling our kits using the copper foil method.  

Important: The spots and details (white) on the loon are painted on with enamel paint which is NOT INCLUDED. 

Important: This is a kit, not a finished product. This item is shipped in the manufacturer's box. You supply the stained glass tools (soldering iron) and consumables (metals, flux, solder, etc.) as well as the experience in stained glass construction to complete the kit.
