PAPYROS ORGANIC replicates the many advantages of PAPYROS that fusers have come to expect. The new formula gives the paper a slightly different beige color, which will turn pure white after firing. Other benefits of PAPYROS ORGANIC include:

• Releases fully and cleanly from most glass
• Any fibers left on the glass firing are easily wiped away with one finger
• Stays intact after firing and doesn’t break up into dust
• Almost no odor during or after firing

PAPYROS, is a ceramic-based paper designed for glass fusing. When placed between the kiln shelf and the underside of your glass fusing project, Papyros prevents the glass from sticking to the kiln shelf--ideal for the majority of fusing projects, up to 1600° F.

This shelf paper provides excellent glass/kiln shelf separation on the first use, and frequently in subsequent firings, as well. Post-firing integrity depends on the type of glass used on the project underside (e.g., opal vs transparent), the nature of the project (volume/construction), as well as the final fusing temperature (degree of glass movement in the kiln).
